METAIRIE http://www.packerscheapstore.com/rashan-gary-jersey-cheap , La. (AP) — Payton’s voice on Monday. The end of the regular season meant a number of his colleagues were getting fired .That meant clubs with new vacancies would be requesting interviews with assistants on the most successful teams, such as New Orleans, during the very time Payton wants to focus on getting ready for the playoffs. While Payton tersely mentioned that assistants such as defensive coordinator Dennis Allen, offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael Jr. and tight ends coach Dan Campbell all would make good head coaches, he said he didn’t want to talk about that now. He was more concerned with the recent performance of his team. New Orleans’ 33-14 loss at home to Carolina on Sunday gave the Saints two losses in their past five games. They needed fourth-quarter comebacks in their past three victories, two of which were decided by just three points.“With the way we played yesterday and some of the things that we’ve done offensively recently, our focus is going to be strictly on the Saints and the fundamentals and techniques we need to improve on,” Payton said. “We’ve got a lot of things we want to improve on — and this week gives us a chance to do that.”As the NFC’s top seed, New Orleans has a first-round bye and is just two home victories from reaching the second Super Bowl in the franchise’s 52 seasons. What remains to be seen is whether the Saints can recapture the juggernaut form and swagger of midseason, when they posted a handful of multi-touchdown triumphs.“The No. 1 seed guarantees you nothing except you host a playoff game,” Saints defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins said, noting that New Orleans cannot afford to dismiss Sunday’s loss to Carolina as an outlier — even if it was a low-stakes game with numerous starters seeing less action than usual.Quarterback Drew Brees and dynamic running back Alvin Kamara were among the Saints that saw no action on Sunday, and numerus others saw their snap counts scaled back.Still, they expected to be more competitive than they were. They were down by 30 before scoring their first points in the fourth quarter, and it was the first time since Payton took over as coach in 2006 that his team had been shut out at home in the first half.“When teams start to game-plan for us Darnell Savage Jr. Jersey , they’re going to turn on that tape,” Rankins said. “They’re going to see things they think they can attack. So for us, it’s on us to fix those mistakes.”Tight end Ben Watson said it is common for fundamentals to slip on all clubs throughout the season, particularly as it relates to the more physical elements of football, such as blocking to tackling, as coaches focus more on preserving players’ health.“You’re usually as fundamentally sound as you’re going to be at the end of training camp,” Watson said. “Fast-forward five months, our practice aren’t as long, our practices sometimes aren’t padded — not just us, everybody — because of the attrition that happens during the season.“Fundamentals is what’s going to take you where you want to go. It always has. It always will,” Watson said. “Over time, when you get into game plans and you’re not just doing that all the time, you lose some of that. So now is a good week to just sharpen that stuff up.”Meanwhile, veterans who’ve won championships have been trying to share their experience with younger players about the level of focus required to advance in the playoffs.“You’ve got to really embrace this opportunity that we have because you understand it’s very hard to get in this position,” said offensive tackle Jermon Bushrod http://www.packerscheapstore.com/elgton-jenkins-jersey-cheap , who was part of the Saints only Super Bowl team 10 seasons ago. “You’ve got to really focus and take your preparation to the next level and eliminate distractions.“Whether it’s turning the TV off, getting off the phone or going to bed early, we’ve got to find a way to give ourselves, individually, an extra edge,” he said. BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane promised he’d be “judicious” in rebuilding his team in free agency. With more than $70 million of space available under the salary cap, he’s also proving to be busy.People with direct knowledge of discussions told The Associated Press on Monday that the Bills agreed to sign center Mitch Morse, tight end Tyler Kroft, running back Frank Gore and cornerback Kevin Johnson. The people spoke on condition of anonymity because the signings won’t be official until the NFL’s new year begins Wednesday. The Bills are coming off a 6-10 season and were left with plenty of salary cap space after spending the past two offseasons purging high-priced and under-achieving talent. The Bills focused their initial attention on upgrading an offense that was a work in progress under rookie starting quarterback Josh Allen last year. Buffalo finished 30th in the NFL in yards gained and featured a patchwork offensive line and an unproven group of receivers. The biggest splash is the addition of Morse. He fills an immediate need in addressing a position that featured a revolving door at center after Eric Wood retired due to a career-ending neck injury. Morse spent his first four seasons in Kansas City, where he started 49 games.Listed at 6-foot-6 and 305 pounds, Morse is expected to provide on- and off-field leadership as well help better protect Allen, who was sacked 28 times in 12 games.Kroft agreed to a three-year contract that will pay him a base salary of $6.25 million per season and has a potential value of $21 million, one person said. He spent his first four years with Cincinnati and fills an immediate need on a Buffalo roster that currently features one tight end, Jason Croom.A foot injury limited Kroft to four catches for 36 yards in just five games with the Bengals last season. He enjoyed a career year in 2017 Jace Sternberger Jersey , when he had 42 catches for 404 yards and seven touchdowns.Another person said Gore agreed to a one-year, $2 million contract. He is the NFL’s active leader in yards rushing and returns for a 15th season after spending last year with Miami. He continues to be productive after finishing with 156 carries for 722 yards and no touchdowns in 14 games with the Dolphins. He added 12 catches for 124 yards and one score. The 35-year-old will join 30-year-old LeSean McCoy in forming what would be the NFL’s oldest — and most historically productive — running back tandem.Gore’s 14,748 yards rushing ranks fourth on the NFL’s career list, while McCoy is 25th with 10,606 yards rushing. The two are close friends, share the same agent and have spent previous offseasons working out together.Gore is also in line to have another connection in Buffalo, after the University at Buffalo extended an offer to his son, Frank Jr., to play for the Mid-American Conference school last month.A third person said Johnson agreed to sign with Buffalo four days after making the Bills the first team he visited after being cut by the Houston Texans. He will compete for the starting job opposite Tre’Davious White. The 26-year-old Johnson was selected by Houston in the first round of the 2015 draft but never played to expectations because of injuries. He was limited to playing in only the Texans’ season opener last year. He was placed on injured reserve after his second concussion of the summer. A broken foot and sprained knee limited him to a combined 18 games from 2016-17.Overall, Johnson has one interception in 35 games, including 18 starts.
